Hello. I’m Jessica Jeffrey—though most of my clients call me Jess. I'm a BACP-registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist and work with adults (18+) to provide support with navigating psychological distress. I have extensive experience working in an NHS GP practice, and my therapeutic approach is guided by scientifically validated, peer-reviewed research.
Whether you’re swamped by a sense of hopelessness, exhausted from constant rumination, or struggling with low self-worth, I can help. Lots of people come and see me because they aren't the person they once were and are too overwhelmed to know where to start or how to fix it.
I have experience working with neurodiversity, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and navigating difficult life events.

Here’s how I can help:
We begin with a relaxed, informal session where we have an in-depth conversation. This initial meeting is a safe space to share what’s on your mind, and we can follow up with weekly sessions if you’d like. My goal is to help you feel less overwhelmed and untangle the complex emotions you might be experiencing.
If you’re not sure where to start or what to say, that’s completely fine. I offer a calm, unhurried environment where you can think and explore at your own pace -without judgment or a fixed agenda. There’s no pressure to commit to a long-term plan; you might find that one or two sessions are just right for now.
Sometimes, clients want to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. When it feels helpful, we might explore your core beliefs, unconscious thoughts, or past experiences. Alternatively, if you’re simply seeking a space to talk, I’m here to listen with kindness and care, accepting and welcoming every part of you.
